Thank God for: “This Anointing”.
There is an anointing that will give you the ability to do “all” that God has purposed you to do. This anointing will help you deal with haters, your sworn enemies and even family members that know you too well to believe that God could choose you or use you.
This is the anointing that God gave little King David in the midst of his brothers who all thought that they should have been the one to be chosen king and used …by God.
But the text says,
1Samuel 16:13
“…man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at a man’s heart.”
David’s heart was right with God. He loved God and worshiped Him when his only assignment in life was keeping the sheep and scooping sheep dung.
I’m so glad that God sees my heart. I’m so glad that I didn’t have to qualify to be used by him. I’m so glad that I didn’t need an impressive resume.
Remember this always:
