“Many pastors and leaders are in denial. They are afraid to admit the obvious. What is the obvious you ask?”

Many pastors and leaders are in denial. They are afraid to admit the obvious. What is the obvious you ask?

1. Our churches are shrinking in attendance.
2. Our members are apostatizing, becoming more and more worldly.
3. Our finances are depreciating, and there is more month than
money.
4. Our young people are boycotting our antiquated and outdated
religious practices and services.
5. The cults are outworking us.

And if the truth be told, most pastor/leaders are working with a dull or a borrowed axe. (Basically, many have lost their cutting edge.)

And to add insult to injury:
Pastors and leaders are tired. They are being held up by lethargy and spiritual Malaise because the Aarons and Hurs are fighting over a chief seat in the synagogue and looking for a title instead of a towel.

And this has happened on our watch.

It’s no time to be in denial and act all grand, boasting because this may not be happening to you and your ministry. If it’s happening at all, it’s happening to all. We are one body. Those of us who are strong should bear the infirmity of the weak.

1 John 3:16-17 NKJV
16 By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

Let’s help each other get up out of this rut and be the church that Jesus has called us to be. The world needs a healthy church at this hour. Admit where you’re hurting and let God heal you and send you to be salt and light to a people in need of a savior.

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!!!
