Let me make it plain. “How do you get to God the Father? You can only get to God through Jesus.” Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
So then how do you get to Jesus? Listen carefully.
You get to Jesus through sex abuse and drug abuse and lesbianism and homosexuality. You get to Jesus through alcoholism and prison and jail and attempted suicide. You get to Jesus through theft and robbery, lying and cheating, stealing and orgies. You get to Jesus through loneliness and unfulfillment, discouragement and despair. You get to Jesus through church playing and hypocrisy. You get to Jesus through all of the filth that life had imposed upon you.
We come to Jesus just as we are. If we think we have any righteousness of our own, the bible calls it filthy rags. So then, Jesus by his blood cleanses us from all of our filthiness and then presents us to the Father just as if we have never sinned.
If you know how you came to Jesus, shout it out!
I came through drugs, alcohol, sexual perversion, lying and a myriad of many other sins.
Thank God for the blood.
