There are a lot of things that I have been in my life. (Both good and bad) There are a lot of things that I’m not proud of and when I look back over my walk with God I would have to say, “How could I have done that?”
But there is one thing that I’ve never been and that’s afraid to “Step out when God says step out.” I have never been afraid to do what the Lord has asked me to do. What we are stewards over today is the result of walking by faith and not by sight.
Jesus asked Peter to step out of that boat in the midst of a deadly storm. It took faith to take that “first step”.
God dropped a word on me for tomorrow’s service at the Potter’s House. It’s entitled, “Go ahead, take that first step.” If you don’t take the first step there will be no other steps to even talk about. If you take that first he won’t let you drown. Ask Peter. Heck, ask me.
