“We’re having a party and the devil’s invited”

Most folk when they sense the presence of the devil in their home, on their jobs or even in worship are quick to rebuke him and try and run him away. Listen carefully. Jesus rebuked them at times, wouldn’t let some speak at times, even cast some out at times. During my studies I have come to learn that all of these things are true but I’ve learned that he didn’t really mind the devil’s rhetoric nor the devil’s presence. Jesus actually lived with and traveled with a devil everyday. Remember this verse?:

John 6:70 KJV
70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? (He spoke concerning Judas).

Jesus also knew he had authority over all the power of satan. So why fret? Judas/the devil followed Jesus around everywhere He went. God predestined Judas to commit high treason. Had not Judas betrayed Jesus the scriptures would not have been fulfill and Christ would not have died on a cross and our sins would not be forgiven.

Many of you have discovered that evil is stalking you. It won’t leave you alone.

Rom 7:21-22 NIV
21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

With that said there is a reason that the Lord allows the devil to follow us around and even crash our parties. I have discovered from the book of Esther that maybe, just maybe God wants the devil present and to be in attendance when he turns our situations around. Remember this verse:

Ps 23:5 KJV
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

God allows the devil to be present in and around our lives so that when God moves on our behalf, the devil will see firsthand just how good God is to His people. God wants us to show the devil that the word is true. We have power over all the power of the devil and no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper.

Let’s show the devil that we know this and believe this and live this. I’m more than a conqueror, what about you? Don’t run from the devil. The word says that we should stand and after we’ve done all to stand, stand!

“THE DEVIL CAN’T HURT YOU, BUT HE CAN SHO’ MAKE YOU HURT YOURSELF.”
